Location

Hooe is situated 4 miles from Plymouth City Centre which can be reached by walking to Mount Batten and taking the water taxi to the historic Barbican, by car or public transport. Visit the New DRAKE'S Circus shopping Centre, the National Marine Aquarium or the many bars and restaurants. For visiting divers Mount Batten is  1 mile from us with RIB launching, air station and hard boat berthing facilities. Hooe also has interesting eating houses and restaurants, many within walking distance.

Walks can be started from our door along the coastal footpath. You can walk to the Mount Batten peninsula, Jennycliff, Bovisand, and onto Heybrook Bay, also the  Plym/Erme trail. Within a short drive is the Dartmoor National Park and its many moorland walks .
