Activities
Besides walking on the cliffs and moorland, water sports, climbing and other land-based events are available at the Mount Batten Adventure Centre which is only a mile from us (for more information visit www.mount-batten-centre.com).
Plymouth is an excellent diving centre and many good wrecks and reefs are within easy reach (eg. Eddystone, Hand Deeps, Scylla, James Egan Layne and the Persier). Air and other equipment services are available at www.indeep.co.uk which is also based at Mount Batten. Or you may prefer to arrange a coastal or river cruise for small parties (maximum 10) on a modern fully-licensed charter boat (Trojan Warrior).

Sailing, powerboat and navigation courses are available at the Plymouth Sailing School from the complete beginner to the professional yacht master (details at www.plymouthsailingschool.com).
We are also a good base for visiting Cornwall (Looe / Mount Edgecumbe House and Country Park / The Eden Project) and the Devon towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe and Torbay.
